Annual Activities Report 2023 – Iraqi Institution for Development (IID)

This report provides a comprehensive overview of the key activities and programs implemented by the Iraqi Institution for Development (IID) during 2023. The initiatives focused on supporting the most vulnerable groups and promoting sustainable community development across several Iraqi governorates, particularly Nineveh. Through a diverse range of humanitarian and development interventions, IID implemented programs in education, vocational training, social cohesion, peacebuilding, and community empowerment.

During 2023, IID reached 15,001 beneficiaries, including 8,246 women, 6,349 men, and 406 children, through integrated initiatives designed to address urgent humanitarian needs while strengthening long-term resilience. The report highlights IID’s humanitarian responses, educational support programs, youth and women empowerment initiatives, capacity-building activities, and livelihood support projects that contributed to improving living conditions and expanding economic opportunities.

In addition, the report presents key achievements, the measurable results of implemented projects, and the strategic partnerships established with international and local organizations. Overall, it reflects IID’s continued commitment to the principles of justice, equality, and human dignity, and its dedication to delivering impactful humanitarian and development services to communities most in need.
