Safe space centers for children and women of Mosul

IID open four safe space community centers to provide PSS, educational support and vocational trainings. The main focus of the centers was the psychological well-being of the people and how to alleviate all the pain and suffering they went through. Also, another goal was to provide educational support to thousands of children and illiterate women who were the victims of ISIL. ISIL disrupted those children and women education and made them three years behind.  Concerning vocational trainings, the safe centers opened training course in sewing, cooking, hairdressing, etc. to provide the women, especially widowed, the opportunity to run their own business and be the breed winner of the family. To get over the crisis and uproot it, the centers were keened on providing awareness lectures to the beneficiaries on peaceful coexistence, rejecting violence, tolerance, cooperation, protecting the environment and respecting human rights.
