Free Legal and PSS Support for Minorities in Ninawa

Project Description

Free legal and PSS support were given to minority returnees in Mosul District, Hamdaniyah District, Sinjar District, Baashiqa District, and Bartala District. The targeted minorities were comprised of Christians, Yezidis and Shabaks.

Project Outcomes

Documenting destruction of properties by using the GIS system. The total number of cases was 27.
Training returnees and IDPs on their rights. The total number of trainees was 142.
Distributing copies of a booklet on public rights. The total number of copies was 1787.
Distributing copies of a booklet on property rights. The total number of copies was 1637.
Providing free legal services in courts and other governmental institutions. The total number of cases was 378.
Providing PSS services to returnees and IDPs. The total number of cases was 15 cases.
